When young Spanish starlet Suso was a regular in the first team in 2012, the future looked bright for the Liverpool winger, but just two years later the 20 year old could be on his way out of Anfield, with AC Milan looking his most likely destination. The Spain Youth International has represented his country at all levels up until Under 21 level, and enjoyed a season long loan spell back in La Liga last season. However, with the editions of Lazar Markovic and Adam Lallana, Suso will now find it even more tougher getting into Brendan Rodgers’ first team squad and has since played in the Under 21 squad. Reports in Italy suggest that a deal has been agreed between Liverpool and AC Milan. Suso was previously linked with the Rossoneri with rumours that he was to be included in the deal that sent Mario Balotelli in the opposite direction. All that is needed to complete the deal is a signature, but since the transfer window is closed, the paperwork cannot be processed yet.
It is now up to the Serie ‘A’ side to decide whether to pay a small fee in January, or get their man on a free transfer in the summer of 2015.
