Jordon Ibe and Lloyd Jones have received call-ups to England Under 20s latest round of fixtures. Ibe, who impressed at Birmingham City last season, is currently on loan at Championship side Derby County, where he has carried on his form from last season. Jones is the Under 21s captain and has made a huge impact at Kirkby since his move from Plymouth Argyle in 2012. Both of these players have represented the Under 19s and have made an impact. Who can forget Jordon Ibe’s memorable hat-trick for the Under 19s last season in their win over Romania in which he marked one of his goals by mimicking the celebration of Liverpool team-mate Daniel Sturridge.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side will play in a four-nation tournament in Holland where the Three Lions are up against Germany, Turkey and the hosts, Holland. All three games are played between 9-13 October, meaning that it is unlikely that both Ibe and Jones will play in all of the games.
