Sheyi Ojo was on hand as he helped his loan side Wigan Athletic beat Reading 1-0. Ojo’s 17th minute corner was finished off by debutant Jordan Pearce in the only goal of the game. The 17-year-old was booked for a foul on Reading’s Jordan Obita in the 70th minute. Just three minutes later, he was replaced by Martyn Waghorn.

Rafael Paez has been on-loan at Serie ‘B’ side Bologna for most of the season. However, he was not getting sufficient game time for the Italian side, so Liverpool recalled him in January and sent him on-loan to La Liga side Eibar in the January transfer window. However, football’s governing body FIFA have blocked the move due to administration issues, delaying the move until the transfer window closed. Also, FIFA blocked the move because it is illegal to complete deals outside of the window. Despite this, Paez is still training with the first-team squad at Eibar and they have lodged an appeal to FIFA.

Andre Wisdom was an unused substitute for West Bromwich Albion as they progressed to the FA Cup quarter-finals with a 4-0 win against West Ham. He continues to be overlooked by new Baggies manager Tony Pulis, and unless one of the full backs are injured, then Wisdom’s immediate future at West Brom looks under threat.

Divock Origi was a player that was out of his loan side in recent weeks, but played 90 minutes in Lille’s goalless draw at home to Nice. The Belgian forward, 19, made little impact on the game as he continues his goal drought. Tiago Ilori was another Liverpool loanee who played the full 90 minutes in France. He started at centre-back and played the whole game as Bordeaux beat fellow high-flyers Saint- Etienne 1-0. With another full game under his belt, it looks as though his groin injuries are fully behind him and he can finish the season on a high.
