Allan Rodrigues de Souza has completed a loan move to Finnish side Seinajoen Jalkapallokerho from Premier League side Liverpool. The midfielder, 18, who signed in the summer from Brazilian side Internacional, has played three friendlies for Liverpool’s U21 side, scoring one goal. Allan will join the Finnish side on a loan deal until January 2016.
He joins SJK, who are currently second in the Veikkausliga table, on point behind the Champions HJK Helsinki. Allan could make his debut a week today (10 September) when SJK travel to eighth-placed KuPS. SJK have already played 25 games this season, winning 13, drawing four and losing eight. It will be Allan’s second experience of playing in Finland after being included in the first-team squad for their pre-season trip to Helsinki.
He signed for the Reds for a fee of £500,000 and is the fourth Brazilian in the current Liverpool squad after Phillipe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Lucas Leiva. His move to Merseyside came about when he impressed against a Liverpool U17 side in the Frenz International Cup in Indonesia. After completing the loan move, Allan is the 18th Liverpool player to be sent out on loan in the 2015/16, as he looks to continue his development with an experience of European football.
