Fabricio Oya is the latest target for Premier League side Liverpool. The Reds reportedly expressed interest in the starlet last summer are competing with Manchester United for his signature. According to media outlets in Brazil, Liverpool are keen to make another enquiry for the youngster after their initial attempt in the summer was turned down.
Oya, 16, is very highly rated back in South America, and has even been compared to current Brazil and Barcelona star Neymar. However, Oya has recently signed a new long-term deal with Corinthians, so any chance of a move looks less likely now, but there is still interest from Liverpool. The Reds will reportedly continue to monitor the progress of the youngster to see where they will make a bid in the future. It will take a lot to bring Oya away from the club though. The youngster hinted on social media that it was a dream come true to sign his first professional contract for Corinthians. He will also have to wait for a work permit, which will delay any possible transfer to Merseyside.

Oya’s career highlight thus far is scoring in the U17 Club World Cup final as Corinthians beat Atletico Nacioncal 3-0.
