Marko Grujic had another successful week out on loan, scoring a couple of goals to help Red Star Belgrade to a victory at the weekend. Allan, Lawrence Vigouroux and Ryan Fulton had mixed weeks despite all playing 90 minutes, whilst Sergi Canos and Mario Balotelli failed to make an impact off the bench. Samed Yesil and Taiwo Awoniyi were both unused substitutes for their respective sides, here’s this weeks loan watch:

Marko Grujic

January signing Marko Grujic scored a fantastic brace as Red Star Belgrade beat Atlantis 2-1 on Saturday. Having gone behind, the Serbian youth international came up with the goods to prove why Liverpool paid approximately £5m for the midfielder. Grujic will have a two-week break before his side return to league action when they hosts Mladost Lucani on 19 February.

Brazilian midfielder Allan playd the full 90 minutes as he picked up his first win at Sint-Truiden with a 2-1 win at Standard Liege. The youngster started in midfielder and was booked in the closing stages of the game. He and his Sint-Truiden team-mates will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when they host Mechelen on 14 February.

Lawrence Vigouroux

Lawrence Vigouroux kept his four clean sheet at Swindon Town as they drew 0-0 at fourth-placed Gillingham on Saturday. The Chilean shot-stopper, 22, did feature for the Robins in their 1-0 defeat against Port Vale on 2 February, and will be hoping his recent form in front of goal will continue when they travel to bottom side Colchester on 13 January.

Ryan Fulton

Ryan Fulton could not replicate his performance against Bournemouth as his loan side Portsmouth suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leyton Orient at Fratton Park on Saturday. The Scotland U21 goalkeeper did well to deny Armand Gnanduillet late on, but could do nothing about Jobi McAnuff’s winner. Earlier in the week, Fulton again featured for Paul Cook’s side as Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche headed past his opposite number to draw 1-1.  Fulton and his Portsmouth team-mates will be looking to get back to winning ways when they hosts Bristol Rovers on 13 February.

Sergi Canos

Sergi Canos again started on the bench for Brentford as they suffered a 3-0 defeat at play-off hopefuls Brighton. Canos came on as a substitute for the 15th time this season in the 60th minute, replacing Sam Saunders, before setting up a chance for Alan Judge six minutes later. The Spain youth international had a shot blocked in the 74th minute, but will be looking for more of an impact when they travel to another play-off contender, Sheffield Wednesday, on 13 January.

Samed Yesil

Turkish forward Samed Yesil was an unused substitute for Swiss Premier League side FC Luzern as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to league leaders Basel. The striker will be hoping to feature for the first time since their winter break when Markus Babbel’s side host bottom side Zurich on 14 February.

Taiwo Awoniyi

Taiwo Awoniyi was an unused substitute for his loan side FSV Frankfurt as the Bundesliga 2 side drew 1-1 at Karlsruher. The Nigerian forward will be hoping to feature when 14th placed Frankfurt host 11th placed Greuther Furth on 12 January.
