Allan Rodrigues De Sousa has been called up to the latest Brazil U20 squad for the upcoming Torneio de Suwon in South Korea. The Liverpool U21 midfielder, 19, is currently on-loan at Belgian Pro-League side Sint-Truidense after having a successful loan spell with Finnish side SJK earlier this season. His performances in Europe have led to a second call up for Rogerio Micale’s side for the tournament between 18 and 22 May.

The tournament will include the hosts South Korea, Brazil, Japan and France. Allan’s side faced South Korea on 18 May, before facing Japan two days later. The South American side will finish the tournament against face France on 22 May.

Midfielder Allan, who has made nine appearances for Sint-Truidense, will link up will the squad for another training camp at Granja Comary on 8 May. They will then fly out to the Far East five days later. The Brazilian is the only member of the squad who plays in Europe.

Allan joined the Reds in the summer, but work permit issues have meant that he had to go out on loan in order to obtain one. He was part of an SJK side who won their first ever Finnish Premier League and he made eight appearances, scoring once and making four assists.
